Celebration of International Literacy Day
Every year International Literacy Day is celebrated on 8 September globally to raise awareness and remind people of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights. On this International literacy day, our students greeted the helper staff (including maids, drivers and guards) with English and Hindi salutations. Students also gave badges to them as a token of gratitude. During the general assembly of International literacy day, students presented their speech to share the origin of this day and the importance of literacy in our lives. The students pledged to extend their support to the ones in need and contribute towards sensitizing others. They realized that it was our collective duty to cooperate with one another. As it is rightly said Padhega India, tabhi toh badhega India.
